DIG DEEPER

I’m excited to begin this video series where I’ll be talking about some of the most pressing issues facing Wake Forest today. These aren’t always quick or simple topics—they’re long, detailed, and packed with information—but that’s because they matter. My campaign is about more than soundbites; it’s about listening, learning, and tackling the real challenges that affect our community every day. Through these videos, I’ll share where I stand, what I’ve learned, and how I believe we can move Wake Forest forward together.

VIDEO 1 - THE PAST 4 YEARS

I believe that this campaign should be about facts and solutions to the issues that our great town is facing.

You have probably heard a lot about how “we can be doing more” in some areas.

What you may not know, however, is the amount of great work that has been done in the last four years to set a foundation for a successful future.

In this video, I'll layout much of what has been accomplished in the past 4 years.

VIDEO 2 - MISUNDERSTANDINGS IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT

At the recent Candidate Forum, we were asked about what we felt the biggest misunderstanding was about local government.  I agreed with my colleague, Commissioner Shackleford, in that there is a belief that the Board of Commissioners can do more than we actually can.

In this video we tackle a couple of these issues, like development tree preservation and tax revenue.

WAKE FOREST IS AT A FORK IN THE ROAD

Look around us - the federal government is shut down, our state still hasn't passed a budget and partisan politics has caused nothing but divisiveness and finger pointing - even at the County School Board.

Wake Forest deserves better.

MY PROMISE

I will continue to make the Town of Wake Forest and its citizens my priority.

I will continue to support small businesses, which are the backbone of our community.

I will continue to advocate for the needs of our town to elected officials at the State and Federal levels.

And, with your support, I will continue to serve my community with a commitment to do what is right for all of those who call Wake Forest their home.
