MY PLATFORM

I am passionate about continuing to serve the Town of Wake Forest with passion, commitment and integrity. I firmly believe Wake Forest is best served by consistent collaborative leaders who prioritize the needs of our town. I will continue to work hard for all of our citizens.

CONSISTENT COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP

Working together with State and Local leaders is the most effective way to advocate for our citizens and the needs of our town.  Roads and bridges are not partisan. Collaboration regardless of political affiliation is key to getting things done and to serve all of Wake Forest.

We have the blueprints - with an abundance of community input - for a successful future.  I want to continue to work to implement those plans that I have been fortunate to work on in the last four years.

ACCESSIBILITY AND ENGAGEMENT

I will continue to prioritize engaging with community members at local events.

Maintaining an "open door" policy, I want to connect with citizens, community members, and stakeholders to hear and understand their concerns.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

I will continue to support our local police and fire departments. As our population grows, their needs evolve, and it's crucial that we provide them the necessary resources to maintain the safety of our community.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT

Development is slowing in Wake Forest.  60% of housing units in Wake Forest were built between 2000 and 2019, since then, only 3% have been built.

I have and will continue to advocate only for development that includes infrastructure improvements that are required for rezoning.  I have also supported the Multimodal Transportation Impact Fee that will take effect in 2026.

Working directly with our State Representative and State Senator, we have been able to put pressure on NCDOT to accelerate the timeline to begin right-of-way acquisition for Capital Boulevard.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESS

I believe that small businesses are the backbone of our community.  Supporting local business and business owners is not just a campaign issue for me.

By creating an environment where these business can grow and thrive ensures that we continue to be the economic center for over 230,000 consumers in the region.

MY PROMISE

I will continue to make the Town of Wake Forest and its citizens my priority.

I will continue to support small businesses, which are the backbone of our community.

I will continue to advocate for the needs of our town to elected officials at the State and Federal levels.

And, with your support, I will continue to serve my community with a commitment to do what is right for all of those who call Wake Forest their home.
